Batch extraction
Most dedicated extractors let you select multiple RAR files at once, right-click, and extract each into its own folder in one action. This is different from a multi-part archive (a single file split across .part1.rar, .part2.rar, and so on); see multi-part RAR files for that case specifically.
Context-menu tips
- If extraction entries are missing from the right-click menu, the extractor's shell integration may not be registered; reinstalling or repairing the install often fixes it.
- You can extract without setting a program as your default file handler — shell menu entries and default association are separate settings.
Extract Hereplaces files in the current folder, whileExtract to <folder name>creates a new subfolder automatically, which avoids cluttering the current directory.
